Summer in the Shire Rocks at the Vernon Area Library with Rosie & The Rivets!

The next Summer in the Shire concert will take place at the Vernon Area Public Library (300 Olde Half Day Rd.) on Thursday, July 11. Step back in time with Rosie & The Rivets for a night of oldies. Specializing in the best danceable tracks of the 1950s and early 1960s, alongside modern hits with a vintage twist, their show promises high energy and fun for all ages. Attendees will be immersed in a bygone era with authentic sounds and attire. We hope to see you there.

Summer Sewer Credit

During the summer months (May 15 - September 15), eligible residents automatically receive a summer sewer credit on the sewer portion of their July 1 bill. The credit is applied when summer usage exceeds 120% of the average usage during the eight months preceding the start of the summer season. For questions regarding the sewer credit contact the Finance Clerk at 847-913-2302 (Monday - Friday 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.). Click HERE for details.
