ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate)
The Lincolnshire Police Department has certified ALICE instructors ready to meet with members of Lincolnshire organizations to teach how to proactively manage the dangers of an active shooter or aggressive intruder. The Lincolnshire Police Department provides this free training to local businesses, houses of worship, schools, non-profit organizations, and multi-residential housing facilities.
Please contact Commander Kim Covelli via email or at 847-913-2345, to schedule a free presentation. ALICE presentations include classroom instruction and interactive hands-on training allowing participants to test newly acquired skills. Presentations typically last less than two hours.
Prior to the presentation, you will meet a certified police instructor to discuss your organization’s safety plan, and incorporate it into the presentation, as well as offer possible recommendations. For entities without a safety plan, the certified police instructor can suggest resources to guide development of a comprehensive safety plan for your organization. For a more effective training session, instructors try to limit group sizes to less than 30 people at a time. The Police Department can conduct more than one training session if needed.

If you would like to schedule an appointment with a technician, please contact the police department.
