Village Manager

The daily operations of the Lincolnshire government are under the direction of a full-time professional, salaried Village Manager, appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the Board of Trustees.

Scheduled Meeting Dates and Times

Regular Village Board Meetings of the Mayor and Board of Trustees are held in the Village Hall Public Meeting Room on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7 p.m. Committee of the Whole Meetings of the Village Board immediately follows the Regular Village Board Meeting. All meetings are open to the public except for Executive Sessions.

Town Meeting

An annual Town Meeting is typically held on the second Monday in May, but due to COVID restrictions, the 2021 meeting will be rescheduled for a later date. Residents are invited to come forward and ask any questions or make comments about Lincolnshire.

At Regular Village Board meetings, the Mayor votes in the case of a tie, where one-half of the elected Trustees have voted in favor of an ordinance, resolution, or motion even though there is no tie vote, or where a vote greater than a majority of the Board of Trustees is required by Statute to adopt an ordinance, resolution or motion. The Mayor may veto ordinances passed by the Board. The veto may be overridden by a 2/3rd vote.
