Lake County Rental Assistance

Lake County renters who faced financial hardship from the COVID-19 pandemic can now apply for the Lake County Rental Assistance (LCRA) Program. The program provides financial assistance to individuals to help pay rent. Eligible households may receive up to six months of assistance with rent. This can include up to one month of future rent. Households that previously received more than six months of total assistance from programs like the Federal Emergency Rental Assistance (FERA) Program and LCRA Program will not be eligible. The application period runs from March 13 - April 14, 2023. Learn full details HERE.

Neighbor? Solicitor? Burglar? – Who’s Knocking?

As spring begins, so does the season of door-to-door soliciting. Solicitors in Lincolnshire are regulated by Village Code. Solicitors and peddlers must register with the Village and must wear the Village-issued green vest displaying their Village ID badge.

Residents who do not want solicitors on their property can obtain a complimentary “No Soliciting” window cling from Village Hall and clearly display it near their front door. Call 911 for any solicitor who is not wearing the Village-issued vest and ID badge, or not respecting the “No Soliciting” sign. Learn more about solicitor and homeowner rights, as well as ruse burglaries, HERE.
