The Aspire Lincolnshire Comprehensive Plan update is picking up tempo! We recently released our Goals & Objectives about what it means to live, work, and recreate in Lincolnshire over the next decade, including community character, economic development, environment, and sustainability. Visit the newly-revamped project website to learn more about how the goals & objectives were refined, express your opinions on the Comment Map, and register for emailed project reports and updates!

Join us at the first 2023 Summer in the Shire concert on June 15 to chat about your ideas for community priorities and Lincolnshire’s future!

Tomorrow, May 27, is the second quarterly curbside electronics collection of the season. Participating customers must place items at the curb no later than 6 a.m. tomorrow to ensure pickup. Visit our website for more details.

Coffee in the Park

Start the Memorial Day morning with Coffee in the Park, 8:30 - 10 a.m. at Spring Lake Park pavillion. Pure coffee. Pure community. Pure experience. 

Memorial Day Commemoration Ceremony

Plan to join us for this popular hometown event as we remember the fallen military and honor our veterans. The Memorial Day Commemoration takes place at Spring Lake Park, 49 Oxford Drive, on Monday, May 29 at 10 a.m.

American Flag Retirement

At the close of our Memorial Day ceremony, the Boy Scouts will retire worn American flags. If you are replacing your American flag this spring, please join us for our Memorial Day commemoration. You may also bring retired flags to the Village Hall before the event.

The Village of Lincolnshire is excited to announce our inaugural Movies in the Park series for summer 2023! Join us on June 2 at Spring Lake Park for our first featured film: Disney’s Encanto! This free viewing begins at approximately 8:30 p.m. (sunset) but the fun starts well beforehand! Learn more about free snacks, entertainment, and all the details HERE.

Mark your calendar for the third annual Summer in the Shire Concert Series! We’re bringing back all the favorites with food and drinks at Half Day Brewing, a balloon artist sponsored by Riverside Foundation, and face painting sponsored by the Village Club. All you need to bring is a lawn chair/blanket and your dancing shoes!

The Village's planning team will be in attendance on June 15. Please stop by our booth and give us your thoughts about the Comprehensive Plan Update. 

The Village of Lincolnshire is gearing up for a full slate of summer special events you won’t want to miss! All events are free to enter and open to the public. Regardless of your age, race, gender, citizenship, or length of residency, we want to meet all people and build a vibrant Lincolnshire community! See below for a schedule of summer events:

• Memorial Day Commemoration Ceremony, Flag Retirement, and Coffee in the Park: 8:30 a.m. on May 29 at Spring Lake Park. The ceremony begins at 10 a.m.

• Inaugural Movies in the Park: Beginning at Sunset on June 2 at Spring Lake Park; July 28 at Bicentennial Park; and August 25 at Laura B. Sprague School

• Summer in the Shire Concert: 7 p.m. on June 15, July 20, August 17, and September 21 at Village Green

• Red, White, & BOOM!: Celebration at 4 p.m. on July 3 at North Park; 5K Race, Parade, Cardboard Boat Regatta, and Fireworks on July 4 near Spring Lake Park.

• Art Festival by Amdur Productions: 10 a.m. on August 12 & 13 at Village Green.

• Food Truck Thursdays by Van Vllissingen: 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at 300 Knightsbridge Parkway
