Leaf Collection

Waste Management will continue to provide leaf collection services in 2021. The Village of Lincolnshire’s annual fall leaf collection begins October 25 and ends December 3. Leaf collection will alternate each week between residents east of Riverwoods Road and residents west of Riverwoods Road.

Leaves must be raked to the curb by 7 a.m. on Monday of each collection week to ensure they are collected. Do not rake leaves into the street. Leaves blocked by vehicles will not be collected. Leaf collection does not necessarily occur the same day as your garbage collection.

Waste Management will make three trips on each side of the Village to collect leaves. It may take several days to collect all leaves from each side. Once the collection truck makes its final pass through your neighborhood, it will not return to collect any additional leaves.

Waste Management will make every effort to collect leaves along your roadway during your week of collection. However, factors such as weather or large volumes of leaves may slow down collection.

Due to the limited reach of the vacuum truck, please rake leaves as close to the street as possible. When placing the leaves at the curb, please do not block culverts or storm sewer openings. Leaves piled in these areas may create drainage problems in the event of heavy rains or melting snow. Residents with questions or concerns should contact Waste Management at 800-796-9696.

LRS will provide fall leaf collection services in 2022. LRS will follow a similar collection cycle and process as Waste Management. More information will be available in the fall of 2022.
