Yard Waste

LRS will collect yard waste from April 1 through the end of November each year. Residents can place brown Kraft bags and user-owned (33-gallon or smaller) carts that are stickered at the curbside for weekly collection on Wednesdays during yard waste season. Residents may also opt for a subscription seasonal yard waste program that includes a 35, 65, or 95-gallon LRS-provided cart. Stickers are not required for the LRS subscriptions.

Branches and trimmings should be placed curbside in bundles that are wrapped in biodegradable twine or string. Bundles should be no longer than four feet in length and two feet in diameter. Food waste (organics) may be included with yard waste. Large tree limbs may not be collected.

Lincolnshire yard waste stickers can be purchased at Village Hall and Heinen’s in Bannockburn. LRS will honor Waste Management yard waste stickers until April 30. Residents must have LRS yard waste stickers after April 30.

More information will be communicated on the homepage of the Village website, in the weekly E-News, and on the Village’s Facebook and Twitter as it becomes available.
