Resident Tips & Information

For additional information about Waste Management including weekly pick-up and holiday schedule details, please visit Please contact Waste Management if you have any questions or concerns at 866-570-4702, Monday through Friday from 7.a.m. to 5 p.m. CST.

PLEASE do not throw out materials that could be recycled. First, the more waste you throw away the less room we have in the landfill. Second, the more you recycle the more material is recovered to be used for products saving virgin materials from being used for the same purpose.

The individual residential waste hauler will take the following recyclable materials: paper, newspaper, cardboard, glass bottle and jars, plastic, cans, magazines and paper bags.

Make an effort to recycle! Check out the Solid Waste Agency of Lake County website at for suggestions on recycling and where to take items that are not commonly recycled.

Recycling Toter Carts

During the month of January, residents can change the size of their recycling toter cart - at no additional charge. Anytime outside of the month of January, residents will be required to pay a $25.00 charge to make this change. Additional questions should be directed to Waste Management at 866-570-4702.
